National Health Laboratory Quality Assurance and Training Centre (NHLQATC) has been established since 2008 under the Ministry of Health Community Development Gender Elderly and Children (MOHCDGEC) for the purpose of improving quality of laboratory services all over the country.
For over 10 years we have consistently provided effective and affordable public health laboratory services which led to the laboratory accreditation with IEC/ISO 15189:2012 Medical laboratories requirements for quality and competence by SADCAS in 2014.

We provide technical assistance for strengthening laboratory services in the country through trainings and mentorship programs. We are a reliable source for provision of Proficiency Testing panels (PT) materials for laboratories in the country including; Parasitology, microbiology, CD4, clinical chemistry, EID, HIV Viral load, Haematology etc
